So, here's an ironic story for you. I was given an e-mail address by the school I am attending and told that I HAD to check it everyday. Here's the kicker... Everything they have sent me is in Dutch. Go figure...
Ha! I can totally relate, as everything here is in Kurdish. Occasionally, I get stuck in a room with people speaking Kurdish, Arabic, and Assyrian. And then there is me trying to squeeze in my English and feeling very left out. And don't forget - my classes are supposedly taught in English, but then the lecturers tell me they mainly teach in Kurdish but the materials are in English so I shouldn't have any problems. Today I find out: they don't use textbooks here, the students are expected to acquire their knowledge from the Internet. I think I just solved their not-so-good education system problem!
I'm almost addicted to blogging! Although, you'll find that I seldom blog about my life. Instead, I try and focus on helping others learn through my experiences and through Christ.
