We visited the Japanese Garden today which was built in 1985 as an agreement of friendship between the cities of Itami (Japan) and Hasselt. It's aim is to create a lasting symbolic presence of the respective cultures in the two syster towns.
This cost 4 Euros to get into with our student ID and it is only a 5 min walk from my dorm.
That looks super relaxing, like a nice place to sit and read on an awesome Autumn afternoon!
